Journal: We started off class with journal 12. Go to the assignments page to make up that journal write.
Gallery Walk: Today we did a gallery walk! Hung around the room were different identity cards. Each identity card had a victim from the Holocaust. Along with a picture of the person, there was also a bit of information about that person what experiences they had during the Holocaust. After reading a few different cards, we picked which person stood out to us the most.
Graffiti: After picking the identity cards we split up into groups. Each group received a passage from the first four chapters of Prisoner B-3087. The groups read the passage then chose one identity card to focus on. Next, the groups read the chosen identity card and as a group made connections with the passage from the book and the identity card. The groups wrote down the similarities and differences of the experience of what was happening in the passage and what experience the person on their identity card went through. In order to make up the gallery walk and graffiti activity, you will need to be request for Flex.
