Alliteration and Allusion: We learned the figurative language terms alliteration and allusion and as we read the chapters in How They Croaked, we looked for an example of each.
How They Croaked: We read the chapters on King Tut, Cleopatra, and Julius Caesar.
Text Structure Booklet: In the Text Structure Booklet, students filled out a Sequence graphic organizer on a character's death in the novel and then wrote an example paragraph using the information from the graphic organizer. See the example for Caesar. (Since I did Caesar as an example, students CANNOT do Caesar for their booklet).
